Hi. I am Amy. Busy mom, employee, student, daughter…like you I have a million roles. I consider myself lucky to be busy and fully engaged in life, but at times, getting it all done can be overwhelming. But it can be done! I had 3 babies in 4 years. I went from caring for one, myself, to caring for a family pretty quickly. I learned many lessons along the way, and can’t wait to share them!
Currently I am in mad pursuit of a graduate degree in Nutrition. I love not only cooking food, but eating healthy and enjoy the benefit of wellness that comes with good nutrition. And nothing beats the savory aromas that waft through the house when something is in the oven, the warmth of loves ones gathering around, and sharing the bounty of delicious food.
While food is important, so is balance of mind, body, and spirit. I work hard at keeping family balance, and that is a challenge. I certainly hope that my blog offers useful information as well as inspiration that family dinners, good food, and balance with a busy lifestyle is attainable.
